About

If you do not listen to Democracy Now on Pacifica or as a podcast, NPR is about as close to the truth as you can get from the [US] media. On top of decent news reporting, the various NPR stations carry excellent [talk] shows with intelligent, open-minded and rational hosts such as Brian Lehrer and Leonard Lopate, both of whom I listen to on WNYC (820AM, 93.9FM in New York).

There are occasions however where these hosts and news programmes exhibit bad reasoning, let guests get away with dubious assertions, fail to counter a biased viewpoint, or sometimes just spout silliness such as calling the President of the USA the “leader of the free world”.

This blog is an attempt to mention and correct such errors.

NPR is CIA-Voice of America psy-ops for the reading class. But they read CIA psy-ops (Operation Mockingbird) so the synthesis is effective.

Due to the nature of psy-ops on the internet, the Broadcast Board of Governors and the U.S. Information Agency psy-ops programs were melded together under Clinton in 1999 to form the IPI, International Public Information core group.

“Indeed the draft charter of the IPI advises that information aimed at U.S. audiences should “be coordinated, integrated, deconflicted and synchronized with the IPI Core Group to achieve a synergistic effect.” ”

Even Pacifica doesn’t expose this massive state-controlled media psy-ops culture.

A better (harsher) expose of National Propaganda Radio is http://nprcheck.blogspot.com/

    National Propaganda Radio fools many.
